My name is Kent Stormans, and I'm a licensed mental health counselor in Washington State + California. I work with adults and teens (13+), and support people through challenges like anxiety, trauma / abuse, relationships, depression. I also specialize in work with neurodiverse individuals.
I'm here to meet you where you're at. Counseling that's relational, connection-oriented. I work to create a safe space for people from any background. Acceptance is a cornerstone of my practice. My approach is holistic, acknowledging the impact of society systems and empowering clients to explore healing that works for them.
I help clients embrace their experience, become grounded in their bodies, moving toward connection and freedom. I'm passionate about working with people who have been overlooked or marginalized. I work from a Person-Centered perspective, and integrate other approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic (body-based) work, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My practice is trauma and attachment informed.
